Europa, the sixth-closest moon to Jupiter, has a liquid ocean beneath an ice crust. It is one of the celestial bodies in our solar system that could support a human colony, which is important to maintain the human race in case of catastrophe on Earth.

Creating a human colony won't be easy, but we're determined. To this end we launched a robotic probe to bore through the ice shell into the ocean to begin the work of setting up infrastructure for a future human colony. Different factions now work together and apart to supply and position habitats in the ocean for the future human occupants. Controlling the robots over long distances requires forethought and a little luck. But you know you're up to the task. After all, humanity is counting on you.

In Waters of Europa you control robot workers to gather supplies and launch submersibles, all in an effort to stock and position habitats capable of supporting future human occupants. Your turns consist of either placing robots at a location to take the action, or recalling your robots and activating a new robot to join your workforce. Supplies and materials are limited to what was brought on the probe, so you must be clever and efficient in your robot usage to best your opponents. The game end is triggered when a certain number of habitats have been moved into position. After end game scoring, the player with the most points will be the winner and the hero of Europa!

Waters of Europa features a customizable worker placement system and polyomino movement mechanisms to provide an interactive strategy game with a ton of variability and replayability.
