Tabletop Simulator is a powerful and sometimes frustrating platform. With that power comes some complexity and a lot of features that may not be obvious. This series highlights some features in TTS that you may or may not be familiar with.

TTS is a fairly stable platform, but it does occasionally have issues that can cause game state to be lost if the host of the mod has a glitch. (In my experience it usually happens to a momentary internet connection disruption.) TTS has an autosave function, but the default is set to 5 minutes. I turned mine down to 1 minute and that has been low enough to prevent the majority of game state loss in a playtest.

In the Configuration, click the INTERFACE tab, click Misc. Settings, and then find the Autosave Interval setting. Adjust the slider down to something more reasonable and you'll rarely lose a ton of game state information again!
